Forty-years since the last recorded case of
malaria in Greece, the disease everyone thought was a thing of the past is
back. There have been 28 cases among the Greek population in the southern
agricultural land of Laconia in the last year alone. Higher temperatures
caused by global warming and the economic crisis have both contributed to
the resurgence.
Who's Comments=Malaria is a serious disease that
takes victims down within a week, immigrants take months to yrs to get to
greece from pakistan,so rule them out.For malaria to be transmitted there
must be mosquitoes. For mosquitoes to survive there must be favourable
conditions e.g warm and wet climate. The global warming and other factors
play a role other than immigrants.
LoL Name a few of these agencies. Most research
and drug development is done in the private sector. Most groups that help
people overseas are non-profits that are not run by the government. Last
time I checked the United States Education rating wasn't that high, it was
tied with 2nd world nations like Iran.
This is clear evidence that the Greeks are spoiled & lazy & want the Germans to fund their laziness ratheer than do a day's work
Next time I hear a news report about the economic "suffering" of the Greeks - I'll remember this report & laugh
