Japanese compensation
Some South Korean labourers who had moved to Japan before
World War II were conscripted into the Japanese army to fight. Labour
shortage in Japan from 1930s to 1945, companies recruited workers from
Japan's colonies - which at the time included South Korea. Now, some former
forced labourers are fighting for compensation in both South Korea and
Japan. Al Jazeera's Florence Looi reports
